Monday, April 21

We got up bright and early for our breakfast with Chef Mickey at the Contemporary Resort. We had to take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then hop on the monorail over to the resort. Juliette loved the monorail. All I could think about was the time I threw up at the Horseshoe when I was 6 and had to ride the monorail with an ugly shirt on that I kept trying to cover up. I'll never forget it- I thought it was a boy's shirt because it was brown and had a cowboy Mickey with a lasso on it. Scarred me for life haha. Juliette thought it was amazing that Mickey had cooked breakfast for her. Then they came over with a cupcake for her birthday and everyone sang to her. She still is talking about how she couldn't believe she was a special guest. Chef Mickey is one of the places I would eat at again. I read some negative reviews, but we loved it and thought it was delicious.

Then we went back to the hotel and swam- it was a little overcast but it didn't rain. Juliette got brave and instead of clinging to me even with having the life jack on, she started swimming on her own. She thought she was hot stuff. After a nap we went back to Downtown Disney to meet up with Bunny and Dawn for dinner at Wolfgang Puck's. Then we did some shopping and had to make a stop at Goofy's Candy Company. Juliette wanted an Olaf apple, but at $10 she wasn't getting one so she settle for Olaf on a stick which was basically three marshmallows covered in white chocolate. When we got back to the resort she wanted to watch the movie they were showing by the pool so we settled in for A Bug's Life.

Aaaaannd we're back on the bus with our trusty stroller.

Monorail time with her boarding card!

mmmmmm

Daddy can you believe Pluto put my book on his nose???

Goofy was cute with her and made a big deal over her Goofy bow.

The Grand Floridian.

These guys were amazing. They're called broom artists and have a tightly bound broom and a bucket of water and draw Disney characters on the pavement all over.

THe massive Lego store in Downtown Disney was insanely crowded but she managed to find a spot to play.

Strike a pose girlfriend!

Oh and she was very proud of her hat she picked out at the Contemporary. We hadn't bought anything yet so we went to town at their gift shop. The only thing she wanted and asked for was the Rapunzel hat with a braid down the back.

She finally started trading that night when she saw Snow White and Camilla. The castmember was very impressed she knew who Camilla was!
