Knoebels in July

Going to the park in July is a lot different than going in June!!! I think we picked the hottest day of vacation to go there. Now that she's a year older, Juliette was able to do and wanted to do a lot more.

The bumper cars- she had to be rescued and we had to keep yelling at her to turn the wheel, but she wanted to try it.

Josh got her to go on the Frog Hopper only because she didn't see what it did and he told her it was like a Chuck E Cheese ride. I wish the picture really captured the terror in her face when it kept going up and down. But she did it and didn't cry. Very proud of her!

She did the ball pit for the first time anywhere. The first time she went in it was like she was afraid to go past the edge, but the second time she dove right in.

The pedal cars!!! I loved these the first time I got to ride them when Jane took me and Mari when we were little. I was a little worried she wouldn't be able to make it on her own around the track, but the man let me walk with her and she only needed a little push once up a little incline.

Since it was so hot we hit the pool. I hadn't been there in forever and it was nice to see they had added a little kiddie area perfect for all of us to cool off. Juliette loved the slide.

 Traditional lunch at the Alamo.

She thought this ride was awesome and rode it over and over. I think we rode it about 6 times. It was just the little Mini Himalaya but she thought it was a roller coaster.

Of course we had to ride the whipper about 8 times.
The airplane ride was another new one for her. She liked these because it was a little like the whip around the corners.

Cooling off with an Icee from Mari!
