Juliette has been coming to the splash pad since she was itty bitty. We love this tradition.

 

Catch Up-- fishing with Pop Pop

Well I'm playing Catch up since its the end of August! Summer is officially over with going back to work today. I'm not complaining- we had an amazing summer and finished it off with a trip to Disney. So let's back track a little more than a month ago back to when we were in PA.


Juliette got to go fishing for the first time! She didn't like putting the bait on, but liked the bobber and reeling in the line. When she caught a fish, she freaked out but then was upset when Pop pop threw it back!

Goggles!!

Juliette has gotten amazing as a swimmer and even started opening her eyes under water. At the water park that's not exactly the best idea in my head, so she asked for goggles. She loves them!

 

Great Visit

We are back from PA and the time was way too short. We usually go up for two weeks, but had to squeeze it into a little over one week because of our summer schedule. Juliette looked forward to seeing Josh on Skype each night and checking all the things off her list of what she wanted to do. She wanted to go to the candy store (Gertrude Hawk), go to the ice cream place (Mannings) and go in the hot tub across the street. We did it all!


Feeding the cows at Manning's- she loved grabbing the mowed up grass to give to the cows- having them actually eat it out from her hands took some convincing! She just kept throwing the grass right where the cows could get it.

Best. Day. Ever

When Juliette was at camp I got to have an experience I never thought I would have- getting to meet my Bette. It was amazing!

Girl Scout Camp

Last week Juliette went to scout camp at Lake Anna. She loved it and even got to see her best buddy Sarah each day since she was in her group. My friend April was amazing and took her home three out of the five days so I didn't have to drive all the way back out there. On Friday each group put on a little skit- the Daisy group sang a song about the girl scout law.

After the last day of camp, there was a baseball game in Richmond for a Girl Scout celebration and all the troops got to parade around the field.
