I don't have my phone cord with me to upload pictures from the start of the school year, but second grade has gotten off to a good start with a little dose of reality for Miss Juliette. She got her first yellow--dun dun dun. She was heartbroken and cried, but it needed to happen. Her teacher even called me that night to see if she was ok. She got it for talking- shocker.
I'll update with those pictures as well as more pictures from our most recent Disney trip! We just got back on Saturday, Oct. 1 and it was wonderful. I'm paying the price now for missing a week of school, but it was worth it!

KD season
We had a great summer of trips to Kings Dominion as a mommy and daughter, family, and friends.
Eddie, Andrew, Juliette
John Ellis, Andrew, Eddie, Juliette, and Lilley on the run!
Fair back in August
So this past summer (so strange to be talking about summer at the start of October) we went with my friend Carlee to the fair. Juliette had a great time and even ran into bestie Sarah
Oh my!
Well apparently I suck again at this! Haha but seriously Facebook is becoming easier than keeping this up, but I've done it since I was pregnant so I'll try my best to keep at it. Eventually like teachersbaby this will fill and I'll move on to another teacher blog! :)

Start of Summer
We've had a great start to summer. Juliette had Girl Scout camp at Lake Anna right away and had a great week. Only one day got rained out. We've had some fun days at Kings Dominion with friends and got to see the new Wild West Show that Juliette loves.
Watermelon at camp!
Seeing Finding Dory at the drive in
Her camp skit- the amazing trained caterpillar- Juliette was the head haha
Juliette the Brave! She's been on this roller coaster a few times crying, but this was her decision to ride it and she loved it and laughed the entire time.
Fast friends with my friend Carlee's cousin

Dress Rehearsal
I was more nervous than Juliette was to watch her dress rehearsal! From what I had seen in practice, my kid is cute, but not a hip hopper! I say that with all love haha. But she surprised us all at the recital and was amazing. We were allowed to take pictures during dress rehearsal, but not the recital. Josh and I were nervous we would be evacuated from the auditorium of the high school because of severe storms and tornado warning.
She spotted me with the camera and struck a pose! That's her teacher in the black leggings and blond hair.
with her friend Anna who was in a tap dance
