Bridging Ceremony

Juliette was so excited to become a Brownie! All the girls had so much fun and partied until after 10. Some kids stayed to camp out in Lea's backyard, but I took Juliette home. I had to drag her out of the pool at 9:30 and she was asleep in the car before I pulled onto the main road!

Here are our three Daisies- Sammi, Juliette, and Sarah

Great Wolf Lodge

Do you know how hard it is for three women to keep a secret from their kids for 6 months??? This was our challenge with Great Wolf Lodge. When April and I pulled in with three of the girls, they were so excited. Juliette thought we were going camping so it took her a minute to get over that, but she was thrilled to be at the water park. It was so nice having all 5 girls together- Juliette, Cloie, Abby, Sarah, and Emily.

The girls seemed to like being dragged by April!

She was so proud that she tried this ride- even did it twice!

April got her to ride the first water slide and we couldn't get her off them all weekend!

Birthday Party

Her skating party was possibly the strangest one I've given so far. When all the kids (15) got there they all kind of scattered so we only saw everyone when they were eating! But everyone had a great time bouncing, sliding, playing, and skating. There were a few kids there who had never put on skates before!

She wanted a Frozen cake, but Costco doesn't make that so we used her little Frozen toys. I think it turned out pretty cute!

Catch up time!

As usual. I've been slacking. So here are some rapid fire pictures from the last two months that I had on the camera card. For some reason I can't get the pictures off my phone which s frustrating. But here they are!

First off her school play with her as a flower!

Happy Birthday!

Juliette's birthday was Friday and she has had an amazing birthday weekend and has been thoroughly spoiled rotten! :) In a good way :). On Friday she got to stay up as late as she wanted to and made it to around 11. Saturday we went to Kings Dominion to swim at opening day of the water park. Sunday we made it to Washington to see the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and even got to watch some of Rolling Thunder. We just missed hearing Donald Trump speak on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, but the kids were exhausted. We went with Juliette's friend Luke and his mom. It was hot, but not unbearable. Then Luke and his sister slept over last night and today we are just enjoying a quiet day at home. I can't wait until Friday though- it's her last present and she doesn't know about it. I'm going to wake her up normal time like we're going to school and then drive right past the turn and head to her friend's house. Then we're going to head to Great Wolf Lodge for the weekend! Pictures from birthday celebrations to come!

New Season at Kings Dominion

We've been back to Kings Dominion a few times so far and Juliette is getting very brave. She tried The Ricochet ridge- the first true adult roller coaster she's been on and she loved it! She loves having her friends to ride with her.

Juliette and Anna on The Great Pumpkin Coaster- she finally likes it!

Selfie with Sally!

Her first grown up roller coaster! Yet she hates the other kiddie coaster.

Juliette and Lilley! It's so cute how Juliette will take Lilley by the hand and basically drag her around the park and Lilley is just happy to be with the big kid! Last weekend when we went to see them I walked into the room and Lilley was on the couch. She looked up at me and said "Pookie- where's Juliette?"  Yep not even a hi for Aunt Pookie.

Thinking Day 2016

Last year the troop did France. This year the troop did Philippines. The turn out was a little low because there were so many other activities going on that weekend, but the girls who came had fun and our table was the winner for the best food.

Juliette and Sarah- besties!
