Christmas Morning

When we asked Juliette what she wanted for Christmas, she said nothing, she had her family. So of course Santa brought her all her favorite things she had been looking at. Her favorites were a can of fart noise putty called Flarp and a set of 9 mini Palace Pet toys we played with all day. It was a very fun Christmas spent opening presents and playing with all the new games and toys.

Santa also left a Target gift card that was just waiting to be spent. We went to Target a few days later and with her gift card in hand, walked into the store while announcing that it was not for clothes or panties. Now try not to laugh at that! She chose two packs of Disney Tsum Tsums and they joined the Palace Pets as favorite new toys.

Legos!

We loved playing Pop the Pig and feeding him hamburgers to pop his belly!

Christmas Eve

I love our Christmas Eve traditions. This year we build our gingerbread....train. Houses get boring! We said good bye to Elfie and he left one last gift for Juliette- the Stormtrooper  pillow she had been eyeing up for a few weeks. Then we headed over to Mari's for cookies and came back home to spread Reindeer food and get ready for Santa.

Spreading that reindeer food so they know we are ready for them!

Bye Elfie! See you next year!

Christmas Town Busch Gardens Williamsburg

Last year we went to Christmas Town with my parents and met up with Chris and Kelley and the kiddos. It was cold, but we did a lot. This year we went trying to meet up with Evans again and thought we would get to do a lot more because we were going early and it was a Monday. WRONG! We got to the exit for the park at 3:00. We got INTO the park at 5:30. Josh was not happy to put it lightly. Plus Chris and Kelley had gotten there earlier so by the time we got in and found them, they were ready to leave. Oh, and the park was at capacity so lines for even the kiddy rides were insane. We told Juliette to just be happy we were there and with whatever we were able to do. Luckily it was very warm- almost enough not to need jackets. So to get back in the happy spirit we bought light up bulb necklaces. We won't be going back again. If I had paid full price for the tickets I would have been very angry too.

The Clydesdale came right over to check us out from the other side of his pen.

Juliette picked a special snack for the night-a whoopie pie from the shop in England

The show Juliette really wanted to see again- Scrooge No More

And YAY we were able to see it.

Snuggling with Lilley

Well yes Eddie had to sit in the lit bushes--wouldn't expect anything else!

Our "family" Crhsitmas party

We went down to Andrea's for our annual Christmas party right after school on the 18th. Juliette is always happy to see Joy (who is getting a little brother this year) and the boys.

They made edible Christmas trees with a cone covered with green icing and decorated with candy.

It's Santa!
Juliette was a little skeptical last year and thought Santa was Daddy (well...yeah but shhhh) so she was checking to see if Josh was still in the room when Santa walked in!

So happy to see Santa!!

Lilley preferred to wave from Chris's arms.

Andrew and Juliette were so excited for Santa that they just had to hug it out.

Uh oh

I HAD to include this for future reference! Backstory: The Friday before this happened Juliette went over to her friend Sarah's house for the half day early release. While she was there they decided to play with  sidewalk chalk like make up and put the crushed up chalk all over their faces. Fast forward to school recess on Monday and this is what happens. She and Sarah get their heads together and decide to paint themselves again. Not cool girl. So here's her teacher....questioning her about it while another teacher tries not to laugh too hard and takes a picture for me! Augh only my kid.

He's everwhere!

Juliette was so excited to see Santa at Target of all places! I told her he must have been getting supplies. She agreed with me.

Christmas crafting

I had Ryan over one afternoon and we made cookies, the kids made ornaments, doorknob signs, etc all to get ready for the holidays. They had a blast- in matching shirts no less!
