Girl Scout camping trip!

We had fun camping at the Fredericksburg KOA as Troop 3729. The girls made a bird feeder, tie dyed shirts, painted the solar system, went for a hike, and a lot of swimming!!

When it rained all evening, everyone gathered in April's cabin!

Back in Virginia!

We got back to VA and had some fun! We went to see the Minion movie, visited the police station with the Girl Scouts, and had a trip to Kings Dominion with Kelley and the kids. You and Eddie got up on stage to sing!

 

 

I had to run some errands and letting you out in your fairy wings was the only way you would come with me!

The day before we left we went to visit Nancy and Nick on the lake. Nick took us out on his boat and you wanted to go fast!

 

Carnival Time!

Juliette had a ball at the Dalton carnival this summer. If I had known how much she loved the rides I would have bought her a wrist band, but she had enough tickets to try a few things. She loved the fun house with the slide- something she had always been scared of. She went on it three times!!

 

 

Game time! She won her head band and her wings.

 

Playing instant bingo! She won a few extra tickets.

 

She surprised me again when she wanted to get her face painted. Of course she chose the design that looked like Frozen.

 

And we ended the night in true carnival fashion- with a Pizza Frita!

Juliette has been coming to the splash pad since she was itty bitty. We love this tradition.

 

Catch Up-- fishing with Pop Pop

Well I'm playing Catch up since its the end of August! Summer is officially over with going back to work today. I'm not complaining- we had an amazing summer and finished it off with a trip to Disney. So let's back track a little more than a month ago back to when we were in PA.


Juliette got to go fishing for the first time! She didn't like putting the bait on, but liked the bobber and reeling in the line. When she caught a fish, she freaked out but then was upset when Pop pop threw it back!
