Annual Framily camping trip

We were so excited to use our new camper for the first time on our trip to Natural Bridge with friends for our Framily weekend. This year there were 52 of us. When we pulled up to the campground Juliette's friends were already waiting for us and off she went. I think we saw her again about 2 hours later. Everyone knew their kids were with other kids and perfectly safe! It was great. We had all the traditional activities- late night campfires with inappropriate games and my friend Maura trying to get me wasted (not working), a trip to the Safari Park to see the animals- we won't be doing that again- they won't let you near the camels and zebras anymore, our chili cook off, trick or treating, a movie on one of the campers, and just being together is always awesome since Erin and Joe moved to Florida.

Juliette being attacked by the Budgies!

This one liked Josh and slept on his shoulder.

Juliette and Marissa. The little BB8 kiddo is one of our crowd- too cute. When he walked he looked like ET under the sheet.

Chili time!

All our kids in costume

our group- how embarrassing- we all wore the same thing...

It's hard tending the fire.

Apple Picking at Carter's Mountain

When we went apple picking last year, it was a beautiful day, we stayed at the orchard all day, had lunch there, sat on the mountain and just enjoyed the view. This year not so much. It was indeed a beautiful day- not a cloud in the sky. However....there were about 40 mile per hour wind gusts!!
We quickly got some hot apple cider and warm apple donuts before attempting to pick apples.
Thankfully once we got into the trees the wind was blocked. The orchards had been hit hard by hail so the apples, while perfectly good and delicious, looked a bit strange with bumps all over them. We picked some granny smith and golden delicious. The other apples were slim pickins so we moved on. The only thing I wanted from our trip was some of their caramel apples cookies. they weren't making them that day. Seriously???

Halloween at Disney

We pulled Juliette out of school for a week at the end of September for some Disney Fall magic. We were not disappointed. We had tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and it was sold out and insane. Juliette had her heart set on seeing Jack Skellington and Sally so Josh got in line at 4:30 and we finally got to see them at 7. We also took some time out from the party to see Jack Sparrow.

We knew where the candy was by these huge balloons. And you could keep going through treat lines!

At Hollywood Studios Storm Troopers stopped Juliette- she had her Rey costume on.

Haunted Mansion float in the parade

ALl her candy!

Score!

We were at Epcot during Food and Wine festival so Juliette tried some new food- Chinese chicken potstickers. She loved them= not the sauce though.

Yes we took on this challenge.

Josh got picked to be an extra in the Indiana Jones stunt show!

We stayed at All Star movies resort in the Fantasia building- our room was on the third floor above the Mickey hat/

The pilot let her sit in the cockpit!

Juliette lost her mind when she saw Meg and Hercules. They were so nice to stop for a picture

The parade was my favorite part. The grave diggers for Haunted mansion were amazing and would slam their shovels on the concrete and make sparks.

We even got to see the newest princess- Elena!
