Nighty Night

All that's left to post is Disney and I just have no energy to get to those pictures tonight so stay tuned. Like I said, it's been a huge summer filled with camps, friends, vacations, and just being together. I can't believe Juliette is going to be in first grade next week! She is going to have a great time making new friends and reconnecting with old friends. Sadly she is apart from her two best friends, but that just means more play dates and recess reunions :). September is already shaping up to be a whirlwind of fun activities. The first week of school she starts dance- hip hop!! I can't wait to see that! Then on Friday she is going to see Disney on Ice with Josh and Nana- she doesn't know about it yet! We also have two camping trips planned- one to KOA Fredericksburg right down the road, and one to KOA VA Beach with the Evans clan in their super camper! It's going to be a great year!

Fun Day at the library

Juliette and I headed downtown to the library for family fun day. We saw Pocket the snake that belongs to a para at my school. Juliette even touched it! She wanted me to take her picture next to the Anna and Elsa cut out of course! After the library, Juliette was on a mission to find a treat on Caroline Street.

Fire House visit

When we visited the police station we were supposed to also see the fire station. But when we got to the fire station they got a call right away so we couldn't tour it. We came back the first week in August and got our tour. Just as we finished they got a call for an accident and had to leave.

Right after getting back from camping we met up with Ryan at Kings Dominion. Love these two!

Girl Scout camping trip!

We had fun camping at the Fredericksburg KOA as Troop 3729. The girls made a bird feeder, tie dyed shirts, painted the solar system, went for a hike, and a lot of swimming!!

 

She loved the taco in a bag--once I told her it was a chopped up meatball.

When it rained all evening, everyone gathered in April's cabin!

Back in Virginia!

We got back to VA and had some fun! We went to see the Minion movie, visited the police station with the Girl Scouts, and had a trip to Kings Dominion with Kelley and the kids. You and Eddie got up on stage to sing!

 

 

I had to run some errands and letting you out in your fairy wings was the only way you would come with me!

The day before we left we went to visit Nancy and Nick on the lake. Nick took us out on his boat and you wanted to go fast!

 

Carnival Time!

Juliette had a ball at the Dalton carnival this summer. If I had known how much she loved the rides I would have bought her a wrist band, but she had enough tickets to try a few things. She loved the fun house with the slide- something she had always been scared of. She went on it three times!!

 

 

Game time! She won her head band and her wings.

She surprised me again when she wanted to get her face painted. Of course she chose the design that looked like Frozen.

 

And we ended the night in true carnival fashion- with a Pizza Frita!
