Best. Day. Ever

When Juliette was at camp I got to have an experience I never thought I would have- getting to meet my Bette. It was amazing!

Loved our usher!

All lit up for the Rose

Girl Scout Camp

Last week Juliette went to scout camp at Lake Anna. She loved it and even got to see her best buddy Sarah each day since she was in her group. My friend April was amazing and took her home three out of the five days so I didn't have to drive all the way back out there. On Friday each group put on a little skit- the Daisy group sang a song about the girl scout law.

Her group.

After the last day of camp, there was a baseball game in Richmond for a Girl Scout celebration and all the troops got to parade around the field.

Last Day of Kindergarten!

Look at how much she's changed!! Yep, same dress....her choice!

End of the Year Publishing Party

Mrs. Leahy invited parents to a publishing party to see the progress of the kids' writing from the beginning to the end of the year. Juliette thought it was hilarious that at first she could only write her name and a smiley face.

Each kiddo got a writing certificate

SUMMER!!

This is our first week of summer and we've already had some adventures. Today we've taken it easy and had a pajama day to rest from the beginning of the week!

I officially have a first grader now! EEK!!! The last week of school was fun for her because she had her awards assembly and got two awards, her class got the best behavior at Encore (music, PE, art, library) award, AND they got the kindness award for treatment and inclusion of students with special needs because of how they treat Matthew as just another normal kindergartener. Juliette was excited that he got to be in her group the last week and she got to play blocks with him while he sat on the floor. I asked if she was gentle with him and she said Of Course! like it was a given. Great group of kids. Mrs. Leahy said she wishes she could loop with them because they were just a great combination of kids and personalities.

Pride of the Pack award- goes to 5 kids

Library award again!

Goofballs! Sarah got the art award.
