Thinking Day

Today was the Girl Scout Thinking Day. It was our first time so we didn't know what to expect. All we knew was that our troop was working on France. So we got to the church and other troops had other countries. We went to each booth to learn about the country, sample some food, and get a swap- a little pin for the girls that had something to do with the country on it. Our swaps were little berets. Juliette will tell you her favorite part was the food. Yep- my kid.

We even had a photo booth! The other troops loved that.
They all wore berets that were adorable. Juliette loved that she had the Eifel Tower on her beret.

Boosterthon

The last two weeks the school has been buzzing with very perky Boosterthon employees meant to pump the kids up about the Fun Run and getting pledges to raise money for new Ipads and chrome books. Juliette loved wearing her Rocking wrist band and seeing what prizes she earned for getting pledges. Then this past Thursday was the Fun Run where the kids got to run up to 35 laps in the field to earn their pledges. Juliette was awesome and ran almost the entire time- pausing only to get water, oh and to sing Let it Go with one of the Boosterthon perky people.

I'm going to come back to Disney stuff because my phone pictures aren't as good as the Disney photographer pictures and I still haven't downloaded them all.

April!

Oh April you were awesome!
We started with a trip to Disney for Easter and next week will be May!! Juliette is telling everyone that May is her May 27th sixth birthday. Six just seems so insanely old for my baby! But we move on :).

So on to our April stories- starting of course with Disney.
We'd have to start back on the Thursday before we left---the day before we left. Juliette complained that her neck hurt, then her throat burned when she swallowed. My stomach sank. Then we spent the next three hours at the doctor and pharmacy getting antibiotics for strep throat.
The drive to Florida was fine and we stopped overnight and then got to Pop Century on Saturday and immediately hit the Hippy Dippy pool.

I took her out of school early on April 3, but had to wait until her class did their Easter Egg hunt!

Her favorite part of road trips!

Her strike a pose hip pop!

Sitting out by the pool watching Big Hero 6--in a princess dress of course.
