This is awesome!!!

Those were the words she screamed as she went down the hill!

Riding daddy!

More sledding

Sledding

Juliette's first time sledding was a hit! She did it for about an hour and a half before falling down and announcing that she was exhausted. We went with our neighbors and had a blast. Josh kept trying to ride down the hill standing on Juliette's boogie board and had a few very painful wipe outs before making it all the way down. I was pretty proud of Juliette even though she didn't go down the "big part" of the hill. Honestly I wouldn't have done it either because it was very steep. Josh relived his college days by using a garbage bag coated with Pam cooking spray.

Moooooooom something happened!

Those are words I don't care to hear at all! She was trying to get the bag of marshmallows out of the pantry and the bag fell open. She didn't mind at all helping to clean up the mess.

Almost 10 inches!

We woke up at 5 am this morning (yes crazy on a snow day) because the sleet and freezing rain were so loud. I was worried that it would ruin the great snow we got and Juliette wouldn't be able to build her snowman. It just made the top icy so we had to stomp around like Lucy and the grapes to get to the good snow to roll it to make our snowman. Our neighbors came by on a walk and then when Juliette woke up from her nap we went over to their house to play for a little bit. The walk in the snow sucked since it wasn't light snow coming down but icy snow so it didn't feel too good. Our subdivision is completely blocked by the plow, but I've heard rumors the main roads aren't too bad. Obviously we are closed tomorrow too. We might be able to get out tomorrow but we aren't in any hurry and are going back over to our neighbors' so the kids can play outside.

Rambo snowman before his head!

Snowmadeggon!

All week the only thing we've heard at school is about this snow storm. Let me 'splain something about this winter. Each and every storm we have gotten has been predicted to be X amount of inches and we've never gotten what they've predicted. "They" always say Well it moved off the path...blah blah blah. We've had a TON of snow days, but haven't gotten a real dumping yet- even when the kids were out for the whole week we only had 2-3 inches! So this week's predictions have been epic- anywhere from on the low side 2 to on the high side 16. It started around 5 this afternoon and it's coming heavy now and not supposed to stop tonight. Needless to say we've already been called out for tomorrow and I'm betting Friday as well. Which brings me to another point---since MLK Day last month we have been trying to make a trip up to PA. I think our plans are cursed. Twice Juliette was sick, and now this storm. Josh's grandmother told us to stay home. Juliette can't wait to go play in it tomorrow- I think her favorite part is coming in for hot chocolate though.
I will post pictures from our snow fest and hope to get a FLIP video of her singing Let it Go since now she thinks we are in Arrendale (the kingdom in Frozen).

What does the Fox Say??

Snowball Dance

Josh's school had its first Snowball dance last night. It started out as a father/daughter dance, but then was opened to everyone so I got to go too. Juliette had a blast and especially loved the cupcakes and the steamers. She brought a bunch of the silver tinsel home!
